NHDES is now accepting applications for the Source Water Protection Program!

On April 15, 2024 the Drinking Water and Groundwater Advisory Commission approved to allocate $2,000,000 in funding for source water supply protection. NHDES is now accepting applications for the 2024 funding round. Grants are available to cover up to 50% of total project costs to permanently protect High-Priority Water Supply Lands. Grants are capped at $500,000 per project. Pre-applications are required to be considered for funding and are due May 30, 2024. Full applications are due August 8, and site visits and application review will occur September-October with funding decisions made in November.
